Lunch Crates

I am looking at replacing our lunch crates. We currently use 28litre plastic 'toy' boxes, but these have a very short life, splitting and breaking very easily. I need something that is stackable when not in use, easy for primary children to carry and reasonably priced. Any suggestions are welcome.

What about old fashioned Milk Crates? Durable, stackable and you should be able to borrow some from the milk delivery man or a local takeaway?

washing baskets work well and wear well and are cheap

wire baskets with handles are used in alot of canteens; some also use insulated bags inside the basket to keep drinks cool
