Wastage Record
The wastage record should include the following:
- Any food or damaged goods that are disposed of.
- Any food sold below cost price (subtract the amount paid from the cost price and record in cost price column).
- Any leftover food taken home (although this should be actively discouraged).
- Any food or goods that are given away for free (eg promotional offers or taste tests).
- All staff and volunteer lunches if provided (refer to your canteen policy).
- Any food or goods that are donated to school functions.
