Crunch&SipĀ® Policy

In NSW, all registered schools will receive a Crunch&Sip®  Resource Pack.  In addition, Certified Crunch&Sip®  Schools will receive a school certificate.

School Policy

Formalising a health initiative by policy is a way of ensuring ongoing commitment and support.  To become Certified, your school needs to develop and implement a Crunch&Sip®  policy, or include Crunch&Sip®  in another existing policy, such as a School Nutrition Policy, a Student Welfare Policy or a PDHPE Policy.

The process of developing the policy is as important as the policy itself, and school community consultation is a great way to publicise Crunch&Sip® .  You are also more likely to be successful in implementing your policy if everyone involved has participated in the policy development and agree and understand it’s intent.

For a step by step guide on how to develop a Crunch&Sip®  policy, download the How to Develop a Crunch&Sip®  Policy document here.
